Mr. Li was hired as Non-Executive Director of Sinochem Holdings in June 2021.

Mr. Li is a Senior Economist. He was Delegate of the 12th and the 13th National People's Congress. He used to be Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of China Merchants Group Co., Ltd., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of China Merchants Capital Management Co., Ltd., Chairman of China Merchants Finance Holdings Co., Ltd., Chairman of China Merchants China Direct Investments Co., Ltd., Director of China Merchants Holdings (International) Co., Ltd., Director of China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd., Director of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd., and Deputy General Manager of Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch. Mr. Li is currently Director of China Merchants Group.
