Lately, the opening ceremony of General Tire Technology (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. was held at the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ) in Cambodia. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. This production base was designed by Bluestar Engineering team. SSEZ in Cambodia is a exemplary project along the “Belt and Road” Initiative and is the only national-level economic and trade cooperation zone that has signed a bilateral government agreement between China and Cambodia. As the largest single-unit investment project in SSEZ, the base has an annual production capacity of 5 million high-performance car tires and 900,000 truck tires. Bluestar Engineering Ltd. started designing this tire project in October 2021, with the design concept of “realistic, Technologically advanced, Economically reasonable, and Practical and safe”, aiming to create a modern tire production base that is “low-carbon, efficient, green, environmentally friendly, and safe”. The construction drawings were completed and delivered in September 2022.
